In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, REEL TALK wants to be chivalrous to Village Green readers and offer a series ticket (value $180) to one lucky winner who can correctly name the Academy Award winners for Best Picture from 2010 through 2014.
Reel Talk is a new world-class film series featuring cutting-edge independent cinema that will make its debut at Bow Tie Cinemas in the South Orange Performing Arts Center on March 15.
Reel Talk runs for eight consecutive weeks beginning on Sunday, March 15. The screenings will take place at 11 a.m. and feature a continental breakfast. Currently, there are 16 films profiled on the Reel Talk website — all of which are slated for theatrical release later this year — from which the eight films will be chosen. Visitors to the website can vote for the films they’d like included in the series.
But back to our contest: Send your emails listing the Academy Award Best Picture winners for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 to villagegreennj@gmail.com using the subject line “REEL TALK Valentine’s/Oscars Challenge” by 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 14. The winner will selected randomly from the entries and will be announced by midnight that night.
