Maplewood Recreation is offering Valentine’s Art Workshop for all ages — preschool to seniors — at the DeHart Community Center on Friday, Feb. 13 and Saturday, Feb. 14.
Locals can “come out and enjoy a relaxing and creative afternoon…a special time creating cards to express your love.”
Available materials for crafting include: Rag and marbleized papers, lace, glitter, photos, buttons and other trinkets. Plus, participants are welcome to bring their own additional elements.
Former South Orange-Maplewood School District art teacher Irene Dunsavage will be instructing.
When: Friday, February 13, 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.; Saturday, February 14, 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Where: Maplewood Community Center 120 Burnett Ave Cost: $5 individual; $10 Family.
