Maplewood Senior Share will be screening the documentary film The Age of Love at the Main Branch of Maplewood Memorial Library on Saturday, September 26, at 2 p.m. A discussion will follow.

The screening is free and open to citizens of all ages (hey, Maplewood Senior Share doesn’t discriminate against young people!).

The Age of Love follows the comic and poignant adventures of 30 seniors in Rochester, NY who attend a first-of-its-kind Speed Dating event for 70- to 90-year-olds, and discover how the search for love changes—or doesn’t change—from first love to the far reaches of life. The senior daters entertain and enlighten with a candor that puts media stereotypes to shame.

The film is 78 minutes in length. For more information on The Age of Love, visit theageoflovemovie.com.

Maplewood Senior Share exists to raise the awareness of senior issues in Maplewood, believing that those concerns will best be addressed through an intergenerational exchange. For more information on Maplewood Senior Share, email Irene Dunsavage at irenecdun@gmail.com.

The Main Branch of Maplewood Memorial Library is located at 51 Baker Street, Maplewood, NJ.
