A pedestrian was struck and killed on the track at South Orange Station this evening around 5 p.m.
Train service was restored in both directions shortly before 6 p.m. with delays of up to 60 minutes.
The incident is under active investigation by NJ Transit, according to South Orange Village President Sheena Collum.
