21st Annual Secret Shoppe for Kids

Prospect Presbyterian Church’s Secret Shoppe, now in its 21st year, will be open to all children aged preschool-to-fifth grade from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9.
Children can buy presents for family members or friends with the assistance of teenage and adult “elves” who help them choose the presents, pay for them and make certain they’re gift wrapped to keep them a surprise.
Parents fill out forms upon arrival for the elves to help the children with their gift selections and budget. The gifts are priced from $2 to $9 and include toys, jewelry, gadgets, crafts, decorative gifts and more.
Secret Shoppe is sponsored by the Prospect Presbyterian Women and while children shop, parents can enjoy light refreshments and fellowship in the church’s Burnett Room. Adults also can shop for gifts from Prospect’s Tiffany Boutique Shop. Those items range from bric-a-brac to clothing to holiday decorations.
Prospect Presbyterian Church is located at 646 Prospect Street, Maplewood.
