A Virtual Poetry Reading with paulA neves and Roberto Carlos Garcia

The first of four yearly Watershed Literary Events for 2021 features poets paulA neves and Roberto Carlos Garcia.

Winner of the 2020 NJ Poets Prize from the Journal of NJ Poets, Newark native neves riffs on themes of gentrification, immigration and social justice while Garcia explores themes of love, grief, racism and history in both traditional (including an ode to Allen Iverson’s crossover on Michael Jordan) and experimental forms.

Open to the public. A Q&A will follow the reading.
