Professionals in Transition Special Evening Session:
Ageism in the Workplace: Strategies to Protect Yourself
Ageism is a topic that isn’t often discussed in public but it’s a huge concern on the minds of those in and out of the corporate world. The bad news is that it’s not going away. But the good news is there are specific actions that employees and job seekers can take to protect themselves.
Sonali Pundalik, founder of Splendid Circle, will lead the group through an interactive workshop that will include specific case studies and actions you can take, such as:
— how to recognize if ageism in the workplace might be affecting you, and why — how to come to plan for it and come to terms with it — the four things you must do to protect your career against ageism
Sonali Pundalik runs Splendid Circle, a NJ-based consulting and training company that helps professionals and entrepreneurs grow their businesses and acquire the skills to thrive in the digital age.
