The blood you donate will help save the lives of trauma victims, patients with blood disorders, cancer and many other life- threatening injuries and illnesses in our area hospitals. Shortages occur throughout the year especially in this area of the country. This situation puts the lives of patients who need blood in danger.
You may donate blood if you:
— are at least 17 (16 with parent’s consent)
— weigh at least 110 lbs.
— are in good health
— have not recently traveled abroad
