Despite their relative obscurity, many women painters reached impressive heights of creative achievement and professional success in 19th through early 20th century Paris. This lecture will examine the lives and works of three of these exceptional artists: Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot and Suzanne Valadon. JANET MANDEL, award-winning teacher and art historian.
