Join MAM and the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) for a screening of the children’s film, April and the Extraordinary World. The film is a riveting sci-fi adventure set in Paris, 1941. A family of scientists on the brink of discovering a longevity serum is mysteriously abducted, leaving their young daughter April behind. As she carries on her family’s research in secret, April (voiced by Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard) finds herself at the center of a shadowy and far-reaching conspiracy, on the run from government agents, bicycle-powered dirigibles and cyborg rat spies.
Film is in French with English subtitles. Knowledge of French is not required to enjoy the program. Running time 105 min. Program followed by film related art project.
