Education Foundation Millburn Short Hills Rocktoberfest

Don’t miss the 2nd Annual Rocktoberfest organized by the Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills on Sunday, October 1st in Taylor Park. There will be something for everyone at this fun-filled community celebration.
The day will commence with a “Fun Run” and “Expo” in Taylor Park.
NYU Tandon School of Engineering will present a hands-on K-12 STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts & Mathematics) Expo.
More Expo activities: If your kids love music, they will need to check out the various workshops/classes that will be taught by Music and More (music class for kids ages 0-5), Front & Center Performing Arts School (musical theater/dance), So.i.Heard House of Music music produciton/songwriting/DJ activities and a music therapy workshop for special needs students), Soulfege (A Capella singing), Farbrook School (arts and crafts activities).
Oktoberfest-inspired food and beverages will be available the entire day including a fabulous beer and wine garden.
Children will enjoy face painting, hair braiding, balloon animals, airbrush and henna tattoos, a photo booth, volleyball and other fall festival games.
Live bands will rock the park from 11:00am until 7:00pm — checkout the amazing lineup on our website.
All proceeds from the day’s events benefit The Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills. The Ed Foundation granted over $185,000 to Millburn’s eight schools in 2017 for innovative and progressive technology and programs that cannot be funded within current budget caps.
