On Tuesdays from Mary 17th to June 14th, learn how to make and play a traditional West African shekere from a dried gourd and beads. Play your instrument in a drum circle during the XRootsFest (Cross Roots Fest—a multicultural festival sponsored by The South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race) at Floods Hill in South Orange July 16th.
