Acclaimed actor John Amos is bringing his immense talents to the stage in Maplewood to support the Black Parents Workshop Inc., (BPW) and the MapSO Freedom School, two partner organizations that advocate for the academic success of Black students in South Orange and Maplewood. Amos is performing his one-man play Halley’s Comet on Saturday October 7^th at 6:00 pm at South Orange Middle School, 70 N. Ridgewood Road. Tickets are $30.00 for the performance only and $40 for the performance and a post-show “Meet and Greet” with John Amos.
