An American singer-songwriter with a strong voice, a keen wit, and an evocative way with words, Josh Ritter has built a loyal following as one of the leading lights on the contemporary folk scene. He sets out this fall on an extensive U.S. tour in support of his latest release, his eighth studio album, Sermon On The Rocks.

Released to widespread critical praise, Sermon On The Rocks was named one of PopMatters’ “80 Best Albums of 2015” with NPR Music including his song “Getting Ready To Get Down” in their “Favorite Songs Of 2015” list, and Paste Magazine naming “Birds of the Meadow” in their “50 Best Songs of 2015” list.

Josh Ritter also recently released the official music video for his new song “Homecoming,” which features thousands of hometown images submitted directly to the artist by his fans.
