Likely Stories: Actors and Short Stories Onstage

Formerly known as Celebrity Readings, Likely Stories is an evening of storytelling that was inspired by Isaiah Sheffer’s Selected Shorts at Symphony Space. The written word comes alive when “performed” by great actors. Stories read in past years’ events have been by such celebrated authors as T.C. Boyle, J.D. Salinger, Eudora Welty, John Sayles, Maile Meloy and many others. This year’s readers will be announced soon.
