Maplewood Environmentalists Meeting

Here is a great way to be a part of sustainability in Maplewood, even if you are not able to attend regular Green Team meetings!

The Maplewood Green Team has been working on three important sustainability outreach programs.  We need to mobilize

Maplewood environmentalists to advocate for these programs with their friends and neighbors.

The Maplewood Solar Challenge- helps residents see all their solar options in direct comparison (including including purchasing outright, leasing, and purchase power agreements) from contractors that have been pre-approved by Sustainable Jersey.

The Home Performance with Energy Star Program– helps residents afford insulation and other sustainability upgrades.

Comfort Partners- A state run program which help income-qualified residents, including renters, get sustainability upgrades that lower their energy bills.

At this event Maplewood environmentalists will get the information they need to advocate for these programs.
