Maplewood Garden Club Presents ‘From Bench to Bed: What Bonsai Can Teach Gardeners’

Discover the fascinating history of bonsai on Monday, February 5, at 7:30 pm at Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker Street, Maplewood, when the Maplewood Garden Club presents “From Bench to Bed: What Bonsai Can Teach Gardeners.”
Our speaker, Marc Montefusco, applies what he has learned about bonsai every day in the gardens at the Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit, where he is Director of Horticulture. Marc believes that the art of bonsai has much to teach us as gardeners, even if we never own a single bonsai tree; and during his presentation, he will explore this deeply traditional, wildly innovative horticultural art form.
