Movie Night: The Hunger

In tribute to the late, great David Bowie, North Jersey Pride will hold a special screening of the 1983 cult classic “The Hunger,” starring Bowie, Susan Sarandon and Catherine Deneuve.

Synopsis: David Bowie stars as John Blaylock, husband and lover of the immortal Egyptian vampire Miriam (Catherine Deneuve). John believes that he, too, will live forever, but instead, he quickly deteriorates into a living death as Miriam looks for a new companion. John seeks the help of Dr. Sarah Roberts (Susan Sarandon), a scientist who studies the blood’s role in premature aging, but Sarah quickly falls under Miriam’s spell. Rated R.
