One-Night-Only: “52 Tuesdays” for Trans-Awareness Week

On Nov. 20, the Transgender Day of Remembrance, North Jersey Pride will hold an exclusive advance screening of “52 Tuesdays,” an Australian indie film about a 16-year-old’s journey after her mother announces plans for gender transition.
Filmed over the course of a year, once a week, every week—only on Tuesdays—these unique filmmaking rules bring a rare authenticity to this emotionally charged story of desire, responsibility and transformation.
The film is not scheduled for U.S. release until mid-2015, so this is a one-time opportunity to see it well in advance of its U.S. debut!
