Roots, Rock, Run

Roots, Rock, Run is reclaiming communities in unlikely neighborhoods. It is bringing joy and wellness to the communities. This is the first time ever the Roots Picnic is in NYC (October 1st and 2nd.) The race is an accompaniment to the picnic.
There are 2 fun runs prior to the race that are free and open to the public. The Mayor of Newark has agreed to participate and lead the September 18th back to school run. The mayor and youth will run from Newark City Hall to the military park.
On October 1st, the run will be led by the Mayor, Vinny of Naughty by Nature, “DoItAll” and the Track and Field Olympic Barber twins.
Entry: Pre-registration at brynmawracing.com. Free until 9/22. Free for all Essex County youth 18 and under.
