South Orange River Day

South Orange River Day is the annual, community gathering to clean up our section of the Rahway River and celebrate environmental education and awareness with food, fun, music, and art. It’s a family friendly way to connect with your neighbors and the environment.

This year, the event takes place from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the newly renovated Skate House on the duck pond off of Mead St. (N. Ridgewood Rd and Meadowbrook Lane) in South Orange. We will have the usual volunteer river clean up, music, food, educational, environmental, and watershed exhibits, as well as a few new things.
