South Orange Symphony Spring Concert

Please join us for the concluding concert of South Orange Symphony’s 67th season. Susan Haig of Summit will conduct a special performance of William Walton’s Cello Concerto featuring acclaimed cellist Jameson Platte of Belleville, NJ. Mr. Platte has performed with many top-notch orchestras all along the east coast and beyond. Also on the program are Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 2 “Little Russian,” and Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March.

The concert will be held at Sterling Hall, the main auditorium at South Orange Middle School, 70 N Ridgewood Road, South Orange. The concert is free of charge, with a reception following to meet the soloist and musicians.
