Digital Training for Constructive Political Conversations with Friends and Family

WHO: SOMA Action, the South Orange/Maplewood-based grassroots organization focused on driving progressive change, presents a free Zoom training with Jessica James, SOMA Action trustee & nonprofit/political fundraising consultant.

WHAT: A 30-minute virtual power training on how to engage friends, family and colleagues in meaningful and productive conversations about politics and the upcoming election. Jessica will provide the tools needed for highly effective organizing close to home close and will answer questions about how to best use these tactics within one’s personal network.

WHY: The pandemic has prevented us from going door to door but it’s still possible to get out the vote! In fact, it’s more important than ever before to speak up within personal networks and trusted circles to ensure people have the information they need to ensure their vote counts in the most important election of our lifetime.
