The Art of Ikebana

Learn the art of a Japanese flower arranging, a disciplined art form in which nature and humanity are brought together with Ikebana expert, Pat Kettenring. Contrary to the idea of floral arrangement as a collection of multicolored arrangement of blooms, Ikebana often emphasizes other areas of the plant, such as its stems and leaves, and draws emphasis toward shape, line, and form. Includes materials and a reusable “pinholder”. Bring flat container (floral vase), shears, apron (optional). Containers available to purchase if needed. $65 members, $75 non-members.
