THE OPPOSITE OF SPOILED PARENT BOOK DISCUSSION
Wednesday, January 4 Main Library 7:30 – 9:00 pm
The Opposite of Spoiled: Raising Kids Who Are Grounded, Generous and Smart about Money, by Ron Leiber, explains how talking openly to children about money can help parents raise modest, patient, grounded, financially wise young adults. We’ll be discussing chapter 4 of the book, which covers the smartest ways for kids to spend.
Copies of chapter are available at the Main Library circulation desk.

Maplewood Library is one of 50 US libraries (and the only NJ location) selected to present this museum-quality travelling exhibition. Through an adventure-themed storyline, interactive iPad content and other fun, hands-on activities, the exhibition explores a variety of financial themes for tweens, teens & adults in a way that is not only understandable, but fun.
Thinking Money was developed by the American Library Association Public Programs Office in collaboration with the FINRA Investor Education Foundation, whose support made this exhibition possible.
