PLANNING A MAJOR PURCHASE: FOR TEENS
Thursday, January 12 Main Library 4:00- 5:00 pm
For ages 11-18
Imagine your future life and get a handle on what you’ll need to know to make BIG purchases. You’ll be given a pretend budget to use, and will figure out the expenses involved in buying that vehicle you have your eye on. With Nancy Wheeler of Financy.

Maplewood Library is one of 50 US libraries (and the only NJ location) selected to present this museum-quality travelling exhibition. Through an adventure-themed storyline, interactive iPad content and other fun, hands-on activities, the exhibition explores a variety of financial themes for tweens, teens & adults in a way that is not only understandable, but fun.
Thinking Money was developed by the American Library Association Public Programs Office in collaboration with the FINRA Investor Education Foundation, whose support made this exhibition possible.
