South Orange Police arrested a 28-year-old Newark resident, in the early morning hours of Sunday after officers responded to a call of a burglary in progress on East Clark St.
As he left the house he had allegedly entered at around 1 a.m., He was confronted by the homeowner and a struggle ensued, police said. He fled and police caught him a short distance away in Orange. Police charged him with burglary.
