Maplewood police arrested an Irvington resident for the alleged robbery of Walgreens on Springfield Avenue on Sunday. At around 6:10 p.m., officers responded to the store for a report of a shoplifter attempting to flee, said Sgt. Christopher Black. Police determined the man had allegedly attempted to steal over $200 in over-the-counter medications and had pushed an employe who attempted to stop him, said Black.  Officers found 42-year-old Frank Wiley as he tried to run away on Tuscan Road; he was arrested and charged with robbery. There were no injuries reported, Black said.
