The South Orange – Maplewood Board of Education has postponed its monthly meeting from July 21 to the following Monday, July 28.
“Due to personal scheduling conflicts, we were not going to have a quorum Monday night, so legally could not hold a board meeting,” said a district spokeswoman. “We postponed to a date when a quorum of board members could be present.”
The agenda for the meeting can be found here. On the agenda is a vote to ratify the district’s contract with SOMEA, the teachers’ union.
