The following is a message from Columbia High School Principal Elizabeth Aaron:
We are ready to share with you the schedule for next week’s FAST (Flexible Academic Support Time).
FAST is designed to help students use the college-like model of ‘office hours’ to get assistance or guidance on summer AP assignments, online coursework they may be doing, or other work that supports their summer learning. Students who are taking online summer courses are welcome to bring their laptops to work on online courses and we will have some Chromebooks available for student use as well.
Students should enter CHS through our summer main entrance, which is to the right of the Black Box theater and let our desk staff know they are here for FAST.
Next week, July 13, 14, 15, and 16, FAST support is available at the following times and locations:
- Math and Science Support: 8:45-10:45 am Room D201 (Mr. Tumolillo)
- English/Language Arts andSocial Studies Support: 11:00 am-1:00 pm Room D201 (Dr. Jeffries)
- Math, Science, ELA, Social Studies Support: 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm Room D112 (Dr. Stornetta and Mr. Fradkin)
FAST will also run during the weeks of July 27, August 10, and August 17 and those schedules will be sent out in the coming days.
