The South Orange Middle School HSA Fundraising Team will host the adults-only Spooktacular Halloween Party on Saturday, October 29th at 7PM at the South Orange Elks. This event will be an opportunity for parents new to SOMS to get to know each other while having fun at a Halloween Party of their own.
The party will feature the SOMS “Signature Drink” and costume contests. Invite your friends and family for a fun evening that supports SOMS.
Not only will it be fun, but you will give much-needed support to SOMS. The fundraising team hopes to raise $20,000 for the 2016-17 school year. In the past, the school’s budget relied on the generosity of those attending the ‘No Frills Fundraiser’. Unfortunately, the fundraiser’s donations were 32% less than the year before. These funds are necessary in order to support many programs including teacher grants, the school musical, class trips, and cultural arts and enrichment.
This year, the HSA fundraising team created three events to help reach their goals, and the Halloween Party is the first. Stay tuned for more on upcoming events.
