Dear Residents of Maplewood and South Orange,

I am writing this letter in support of Susie Adamson for the South Orange Maplewood Board of Education.

I have known Susie for eight years and have worked very closely with her as a member of the Seth Boyden PTA. For the majority of those years, Susie was PTA Vice President and President, as well as, on parent and leadership committees in the school. The initiatives she began as a leader in those positions clearly display Susie as an advocate for all children and their families.

As PTA President, Susie was persistent in creating environments of inclusiveness, where all voices and opinions were heard and people felt the value of contributing their time and ideas to the PTA. She asked for 100% participation from the Seth Boyden Community and rallied families together around common goals for our school. Susie is a strong communicator. Some of her greatest strengths are her ability to listen well, think critically and set a plan in motion. Susie is a natural leader.

It is without reservation that I strongly endorse Susie Adamson for the Maplewood South Orange Board of Education. Her leadership abilities, her knowledge of and experience in our school district and her passion for advocating and creating equity for all will be a tremendous asset to the decision making and leadership of the South Orange Maplewood Board of Education. Please join me in supporting Susie Adamson for Board of Education.

Sincerely,

Maggie Tuohy

Maplewood Resident
