Meanwhile, a resolution to reinstate Frank Sanchez as Columbia High School Principal is on the June 27 Board of Education meeting agenda.

A grand jury dismissed a felony charge against Frank Sanchez earlier this month; however, he still faces a simple assault charge. It’s unclear if the charge impacts his reinstatement in the district.

“We’re overwhelmed with the amount of positivity,” Maplewood resident and artist Magie McGowan said. “The town was really supportive of preserving the idea of art and self-expression on your person and in your home.”
