$50K Powerball Winning Tickets Sold in Maplewood, Short Hills

Besides the big jackpot winners, there were many prize winners in the Powerball drawing last night — and two of them bought tickets locally.

According to NJ 101.5, a $50,000-prize-winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven #34052, at 1712 Springfield Avenue in Maplewood. Another $50,000 winner was purchased at Kings Super Market in Short Hills. 

There were also $50,000-winning tickets sold in Montclair, Newark and Springfield.

In fact, those tickets were among 46 third-prize-winning tickets in New Jersey that matched the four white balls and the Powerball.

According to the New Jersey Lottery, another 1,135,393 New Jersey players took home an estimated $5,487,162 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Jan. 13 drawing were: 04, 08, 19, 27 and 34. The Red Power Ball number was 10. The Multiplier number was 02.
