If you are a United States citizen who will be 18 years old by November 8, 2016 — Election Day — you are eligible to vote in the November 8 election.
There are a number of important races nationwide (you may have heard or read about the Presidential candidates?) as well as two races locally: the race for one seat on the Maplewood Township Committee and the contest for three seats on the South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education.
The registration deadline for New Jersey’s upcoming general election is October 18.
