It’s the beginning of the end.
On August 16, the Maplewood Department of Recreation announced that the Maplewood Community Pool would be closing at 7:50 p.m. and would
“gradually begin closing earlier to align with earlier sunsets.”
Argh.
Just to rub it in, the Maplewood Department of Recreation sent out a reminder email this weekend notifying pool members that:
- This is the last week for commuter swim.
- Early morning Lap Swim and Baby Pool hours have ended.
However, there is some happy news: DJ Jimmy will be at the pool on Friday, August 25, from 6-8 p.m. (Hmmm, that’s after sunset….)
