South Orange Jewelry and Art Exchange Kicks off Thursday

The South Orange Jewelry and Art Exchange (SOJAX) will host a grand opening Thursday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 8:30 pm. Located in the former Robyn Ross clothing store and run by the store’s co-owner Ross Fields, SOJAX will feature eight businesses displaying and selling their wares.

The grand opening, at 67 South Orange Avenue, will feature wine and hors d’oeuvres.

The exchange’s businesses include:

Compelling Images Fine Art presented by Jacquelyn Roesch-Sanchez
A contemporary fine art gallery featuring limited edition prints from the NY art scene 1975-2008 in our inaugural exhibition. Works on display by James Rosenquist, Janet Fish, April Gornik, Raymond Pettibon, Dana Schutz & Elizabeth Peyton among others. A great acquisition opportunity for art collectors and art lovers alike.

Arts Unbound Inc.
A non profit organization dedicated to the artistic achievement of youth, adults, and seniors with disabilities. Through their mentoring program they assist in releasing each individuals artistic side which allows them to compete in the retail art market.

Michelle Billete Design
Using precious stones, antique findings and baroque pearls to design unique statement pieces. Also on hand will be vintage Cartier and Hermes time pieces. Also specializing in custom designs.

Pamela Bloom Jewelry
Jewelry that is sophisticated and relaxed, timeless and chic. Classic and versatile pieces for everyday wear that can be worn alone or layered.

The Exceptional Artisan
Hand crafted one of a kind writing instruments. Each unique pen can be personally engraved.
