South Orange Middle School will be hosting its first SOMS Wellness Extravaganza on Thursday, April 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the gymnasium.
Students, parents and staff of the South Orange – Maplewood School District are warmly welcomed to attend.
Over 50 health organizations and professionals from all over New Jersey are coming to present on a variety of health topics. There will be free health screenings, massages, cooking demonstrations, free food and drinks, lots of giveaways, a jazz band and drum circle, and even a raffle throughout the night.
The event is sponsored by YouthNet and the Governer’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
