08/22/2026 – BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE: On this date, a citizen’s report was generated regarding a burglary to a motor vehicle. The complainant reported that during the overnight hours, his unsecured vehicle was rummaged through and multiple items were taken. This incident is under investigation by the Maplewood Police Department’s Detective Bureau.
08/20/2026 – BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE: On this date, a citizen’s report was generated regarding a burglary to a motor vehicle. The complainant reported that her unsecured motor vehicle was rummaged through during the early morning hours and several items were taken. This incident is under investigation by the Maplewood Police Department’s Detective Bureau.
08/20/2026 – BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE: On this date, a citizen’s report was generated regarding a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred during the overnight hours. The complainant reported that his unsecured motor vehicle was rummaged through and several items were taken. This incident is under investigation by the Maplewood Police Department’s Detective Bureau.
08/19/2026 – MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: On this date, Maplewood Police Department patrols responded to a residence on Baldwin Road regarding a report of a motor vehicle theft that occurred during the overnight hours. The caller reported that at approximately 7:30 a.m., she discovered that her unsecured motor vehicle had been stolen from the residence. This incident is under investigation by the Maplewood Police Department’s Detective Bureau.
08/15/2026 – DWI ARREST: On this date, at approximately 1:50 a.m., Maplewood Police Department patrols responded to the area of Springfield Avenue and Prospect Street regarding a report of a reckless driver. After locating the vehicle in question, patrols safely conducted a motor vehicle stop. Following an on-scene investigation, the driver, 52-year-old Irvington resident was placed under arrest for 39:4-50 (DWI) and transported to the Maplewood Police Department for processing and was subsequently issued summonses for 39:4-97.2 and 39:3-29c before being released.

Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
