From South Orange Downtown:
Due to the forecasted weather, South Orange Downtown’s Fall Fest on Sunday, September 27 from 11AM to 1PM will move indoors to the Big Gym on the second floor of The Baird Community Center, located at 5 Mead Street in South Orange.
The free, family-friendly event will feature pumpkin decorating, seasonal crafts, games and hands-on activities from downtown businesses Oh! Canary, Artistry by Ampy Salon, SOPAC, South Mountain YMCA, Weekday School and The Art Boutique. The South Orange Public Library will host storytimes every 30 minutes beginning at 11:30 AM, DJ Lou will be spinning music throughout the afternoon, and guests can enjoy complimentary corn on the cob from Jus’ Tacos while supplies last.
Families are encouraged to reserve their free pumpkins in advance, with a maximum of two pumpkins per reservation. Reservations are not required, and pumpkins will also be available on site for walk-up guests while supplies last. Any reserved pumpkins not claimed by 12:30 PM will be released to other attendees.
