For years, the corporate news media reported we were recovering from the Great Recession and the foreclosure crisis was over. But only seven percent of America’s counties have actually experienced a recovery. Polls indicate this prolonged economic stagnation has the American public angry because they believe our political system is rigged for special interests. How has Donald Trump harnessed these undercurrents and used them to appeal to disillusioned voters? What’s next? How will our economic challenges shape the debate that will define our future?
