The South Orange Public Library will hold its annual Book Sale June 21 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and June 22 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. This is the library’s biggest fundraiser of the year, helping to pay for purchases of books and other materials, programming and more.
There is a special preview sale for Friends of the Library members only on Saturday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. To become a member, visit the library’s website.

To donate books: Book donation days are at the Baird Center on Wednesday, June 18 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Thursday, June 19 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The library will accept gently used books. They cannot accept soiled, mildewed or wet books; encyclopedias; textbooks; audio cassettes; VHS tapes; or LP’s.
