Candidates Bobby Brown, Toshie Davis and Ed Moore congratulate Bob Zuckerman, Donna Coallier and Summer Jones on their successful campaign. We also congratulate Matthew Wonski, Ed Grossi and Stacey Trimble Borden for their noble campaign efforts.

We want to sincerely thank the voters of South Orange Village for getting to the polls on a wet and miserable day. That so many more votes were cast in this election than in 2017 highlights for us that we’re all becoming increasingly engaged in the governance of this town.

And we’re especially encouraged that our grass-roots, issues-based campaign hit a chord with so many voters. We remain committed to expanding the local conversation, especially on issues of fact-based decision making, social justice and how we work with our police to protect and serve everyone in our community, aging in place, public-library renovation, and downtown redevelopment.  Voters who supported us agreed that these family focused issues are crucial to our town’s future, and we intend to continue our dialogue on these matters going forward in a contributory capacity.
