Come meet the artist, Bill Gallo, and view his captivating the work.
William Thomas (Bill) Gallo was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1965. An oil painter, he works predominantly in human portraiture and figurative painting, but also paints architectural works and abstract landscapes. Gallo has studied landscape painting at the Montclair (NJ) Art Museum and Dutch Old Master classical portraiture at the Art Garage (NJ), with Tina Stonefield-Ishihara. His greatest artistic influences are painters Chaim Soutine, Lucian Freud, Lovis Corinth, and the Romantic-era musical composer, Alexander Scriabin. Gallo’s paintings are held by numerous private collectors. He lives in Maplewood, NJ with his wife, two daughters and a niece. Gallo is an avid amateur pianist and beekeeper.
