Diwali Fest NJ 2017

Come join us at Diwali Fest NJ. It is Maplewood’s annual celebration of South Asian arts and culture. A fun-filled and memorable experience for the entire family. Dancers, musicians, folk and literary arts, Indian cuisine, children’s activities, cooking and dance workshops, and much more. Geared to please a wide range of tastes, from classical, to improvisational, to Bollywood. All against the backdrop of a festive Diwali illumination, in recognition of Diwali, the Festival of Lights. Capping off the experience, the community will join in the dance of the traditional Garba at 5:30pm, at the transition from twilight into the night.
