Estate Planning is important for you and for your family. Without any planning, assets will pass at your death according to New Jersey laws. Depending on the complexity of the estate, this could create inheritance and tax issues. It is imperative that all adults create at least a simple Will outlining the distribution of their assets. However, the larger an estate is, the more likely it is that a simple Will may not be enough.
This presentation will cover
• Basic Estate Planning strategies for everyone
• Complex strategies for larger estates
• Evolving strategies for LGBT families
This program will be hosted by Brian White, a Financial Advisor with MassMutual Metro New York and will feature Brian Raftery, an Estate Planning Attorney and Partner at Herrick, Feinstein LLP.
