The retirement of South Orange Police Chief James Chelel is on the agenda for Monday’s Board of Trustee meeting. Chelel retired effective December 31, 2015.
The BOT also will vote on an ordinance on final passage to amend the town code to add a design review board, will discuss the capital budget and updates on redevelopment, hear an update from Village President Sheena Collum on animal control in the village and an update from Trustee Jeff DuBowy on the Rescue Squad.
In addition, the South Orange Village Center Alliance (SOVCA) will present its annual budget.
