The musical programs in the South Orange-Maplewood School District continue to astound.

At the Winter Concert of the Maplewood Middle School Sixth Grade Chorus, Select Choir, and the Seventh and Eighth Grade Full Chorus, students vocalized, harmonized and accompanied themselves on nine songs that showcased impressive range.

Students sung in Greek, Japanese — and Timberlake (Sixth graders sang JT’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling”). They sang classical pieces and pop tunes. They followed their esteemed conductor Jennifer Bradshaw with gravity and focus. They cheered and clapped for each other wildly.
