The kids are off from school over the holidays, but you must work. What to do?
Send your kids, ages kindergarten through 5th grade, to the Y.
The South Mountain YMCA is offering its annual vacation camps on December 24, 29, 30, 31 and January 2. Hours are 7:15 a.m. to 7 p.m. except for December 24 and 31 when the Y will close at 3 p.m.
Vacation Camp Fun for grades K-5 includes:
- 12/24: Pancakes and PJs Day
- 12/29: Great Scott the Magician!
- 12/30: Field Trip to FUNPlex!
- 12/31: New Year Celebrations & Pizza Party
- 1/2: SWIM Trip to West Essex YMCA
A bag lunch is required, but the Y will supply an afternoon snack.
Space is limited to the first 60 children in grades K-5. The cost for YMCA members is $75 per child per day. Non-members: $90 per child per day. Because the Y will close at 3 p.m. on the 24th & 31st, the fees for each of those two days will be $55 for members and $65 for non-members.
