CHS Parnassian Society to Perform Original Short Plays March 12 at SOPAC

 Columbia High School’s theater group, The Parnassian Society has partnered with the American Theater Group, now in residence at the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC), and The Stages Festival and New Jersey Theatre Alliance to present New Works/New Voices, original short plays written by CHS students Jessica Helfenstein, Stephen Lehren, Cameron Lipp, Annabelle Roses, Lauren Schwartzbard and Max Sundue. These new works will be presented by professional actors in staged readings this Monday, March 12 at 7 p.m. at SOPAC. Admission is free.

The students worked with Jim Ligon, professional actor, writer and an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Theatre and Dance at Montclair State University for five weeks writing and honing their work. Please join this talented group for an impressive and entertaining evening of theater absolutely free of charge.
